Abstract
This article examines how a religious order can partner with a secular social work team to respond to clergy abuse allegations and incidents. Using a program model based on social work principles of justice and fairness towards alleged and confirmed abuse victims as well as alleged andconfirmed offenders, this model demonstrates how religious communities can develop and implement policies and procedures addressing both legal and ethical issues.
