Summary

Joseph (Joe) Sunderman received two degrees from Xavier University in 1979, a bachelor of business administration in marketing and a master of business administration. He played center on the basketball team from 1974 to 1979, and has been inducted into Xavier’s Athletic Hall of Fame. Since 1998 he and Byron Larkin have served as the radio voices of Xavier’s men's basketball team. In this interview Sunderman talks about his days as a basketball player, his association with Xavier’s men's basketball coaches, athletic directors and players over the years, and his experiences as a radio broadcaster. He describes in detail the development of the men's basketball team and its successes.
