Abstract
The researchers performed a systematic review of service-learning (SL) courses in terms of community needs and service delivery in the pandemic, particularly in the years 2020 and 2021. The COVID-19 pandemic called for the application of a social justice approach in teaching service-learning courses and delivering services. The findings indicated that service-learning courses continued to play a significant role in meeting the needs of vulnerable populations to address social and structural inequalities. Technologies enabled virtual service-learning (eSL) and hybrid SL that allowed for continuation of services for equity and justice.
