Artist's Description: This series of photos conveys the idea of being seen in a romantic way by an intimate partner. The role of woman in an intimate relationship connotes themes of domesticity and sexualization, which I personally feel are issues beside the point of partnership. The embroidered edges hearken to the domestic roles of women, those which I am trying to understand and break away from.
