Description
Funeral prayer card for Paul Sullivan, 1894-1984. The front of the card contains a photograph of Father Sullivan. The back of the card contains biographical information and a prayer for the repose of his soul. This card was made by an unknown publisher. Sullivan was a professor of English at Xavier University (Cincinnati, Ohio).

Entered into Life April 17, 1894 Entered the Society of Jesus August 9, 1914 Ordained a Priest June 22, 1927 Entered into Eternal life January 15, 1984 May he rest in peace Prayer. Grant, we beseech Thee, O Lord, that the soul of your servant, Paul, whom You honored in this life with the sacred functions of the Priesthood, may forever rejoice in the bliss of heaven. Through Christ, our Lord, Amen.
