Funeral prayer card for Michael O'Connor, 1861-1930. The front of the card contains a photograph of Father O'Connor. The back of the card contains biographical information and a prayer for the repose of his soul. The card was made by an unknown publisher. O'Connor was president of Xavier University (Cincinnati, Ohio) from 1897-1901.

Born, July 31, 1861 Entered the Society of Jesus, August 2, 1877 Died, October 27, 1930 In your charity pray for the repose of his soul. O God, by Whose favor Thy servant Michael was raised to the dignity of the Priesthood, and thus honored with the Apostolic functions, grant, we beseech Thee, that he may be admitted to the eternal fellowship of Thy Apostles in Heaven, through Our Lord Jesus Christ, Thy Son, Who liveth and reigneth with Thee in the unity of the Holy Ghost world without end. Amen. May he rest in peace. Amen.
