Funeral prayer card for George Kister, 1865-1937. The front of the card contains a photograph of Father Kister. The back of the card contains biographical information and a prayer for the repose of his soul. This card was made by an unknown publisher. Kister was dean of the College of Arts and Sciences and acting president (1931) at Xavier University (Cincinnati, Ohio).

Born, December 20, 1865 Entered the Society of Jesus, August 11, 1884 Died, January 8, 1937 In your charity pray for the repose of his soul. O God, by Whose favor Thy servant George was raised to the dignity of the Priesthood, and thus honored with the Apostolic functions, grant, we beseech Thee, that he may be admitted to the eternal fellowship of Thy Apostles in Heaven, through Our Lord Jesus Christ, Thy Son, Who liveth and reigneth with Thee in the unity of the Holy Ghost world without end. Amen. May he rest on peace. Amen.
