Funeral prayer card for William Hetherington, 1908-1971. The front of the card contains a photograph of Father Hetherington. The back of the card contains biographical information and a prayer for the repose of his soul. The card was made by an unknown publisher. He was a professor of classical languages and the founder of the Honors Bachelor of Arts program at Xavier University (Cincinnati, Ohio).

Grant, we beseech Thee, O Lord, that the soul of Thy servant, William, whom Thou hast honored in this life with the sacred functions of the Priesthood, may forever rejoice in the bliss of heaven. Through Christ, our Lord. Amen.
